We headed straight to the centre of the City and I was pleased to see that the Holiday Joy is little by little conquering the spirit of the crowd.

Back to literature.

I think I ought to enroll to more literature classes on Coursera. At first, I took it as a challenge to improve my English fluency. There is no writing career nor critical talent waiting for me anywhere in the future. But this course does me well.
I've got a pretty huge list of some new works I would like to get a look at, like Love artist, Mofolo's Chaka, Anna Green's Forsaken Inn.
I even turned my eyes back to The last of The Mohicans, DeerSlayer and Gone with the Wind (which I never do, especially seeing the movie previously).
And I am reading, reading, reading...

Snud fashion

New year - new scarf challenge. This autumn I opted for a Snud.  And of course the final result is nothing like the fisrt idea of it. It happens all the time, and mostly I am glad - because it's always even better in the finale!!
Although it's lemonish, and I've got this colour in my yarn pallete previously, I love it again... on me... It looks refreshing.
And having got a gift certificate for a yarn shop from my "crazy" co-workers - I will be covered in yarn soon:) No need even in knitting anything:))))
As for my happy love life - our second autumn as a family proved to be nothing but the same - still surprising my hubs with childish dids everyday)) And he loves it!)

Yandex office

On our way for picking up the English Classics Pinguin Books I've oredered, we couldn't pass by The Yandex Office.
My hubbs was highly amazed by their bike-parking and that is mostly what got him to basically  pull me over there.
Me was amazed by the light, the youth vibe  and by the smiles. People were getting outside smiling. And that is a heroical feature over here - to smile and be happy!
And how could one not be happy to work for a great company in a group of young and restless people, with a dope office, pool table in the chill-out area and funky horses on the office lown.

Russian thought rides

1. - "С" как доллар.
    - "Эйч" как стульчик.
    - "В" как галочка.
2. I thought we are the same, but believe me, we are NOT! I do feel like I've been born on another continent. And the most interesting and abnocsious fact is that sometime, interantionally aplicable rules are stated for nothing here.
When I've made my credit card, I was asked by the bank to present the official translation into russian, to be translated in English afterwards with mistakes. I mean - WHY???
3. And people do not smile in Metro, at all. and I've even heard a comment about it on Moscow FM (russian radio station where everybody speaks in English) and they've noticed that people in Moscow Metro look like they have *poop* on their upper lip))).

And still. my home is where my husband is...so I like it here:)))

Overwhelming dissapointment

Tryin' to gain more space in our flat, we moved our bicycles out of it, to the doorway on our floor, attached with a lock, obviously.
And I was devastated, when I found out in the middle of the night that some *bastards* were tryin' to steal them last night. Damn, I thought those days were over!!! We leave on 17th floor, with a code lock on the main entrance, and still some people were following us to get to those bikes(.
I am still under bad spirits about it. But I am thankfull that they just ran away and noone got injured, except one lock - that was just cut off in two(and it took some time fot them to deal with it and some noise - that's how my husband heard them).
So, here we are back together...again...me, my hubs and our 4 bikes)

I find it very easy to include my cross-stitch pictures in a pillow holder. It looks like a great gift, everyone likes it and no one has to worry about hanging  it on the wall:)

Happy time everytime!

     Why don't we just thank this exactly moment for the fact that we are here and it's already the reason to be happy? I provoce everyone to smile more, to get your brain occupied only with positive thoughts (those bad onces are finding their way anyway) and to live each moment in a pleasure of existance.
    I can find a billion of reasons to be happy and thankfull right now. I am happy with the blouse I'm wearing today, I'm happy thinking about my hubs smiling at my sms right now, happy that I'm going home tomorrow, happy that my HAPPY pillow is almost done.
I just am!
And so should you!

Dreams come true with Juno!

Being overwhelmed with joy of dreams coming true makes you sometimes forget about happinness share. My love gifted me Janome JUNO and I am beyond and above in love with it.
I had some doubts regarding whether I should fear of using it, but it all went away the moment we've started to work together, as a team.

JUNO Star!

As our 1 year anniversary was due this monday, I came up with a brilliant idea of framing a cross-stitch picture I've made a few years ago for my hubs. I admit this was my last minute option of a gift for him. I completely ran out of time and there was nothing else I could come up with as a present. And it came out pretty sweet and with a family meaning, just as I wanted my present to be.

My next duo with Juno got me a super cool skirt for work outfit. And I love how easy it is to make one of these.

Cultural weekednd

Although I planned to be prepared when coming to see the Pre-Raphaelites, but it occured so unexpected  that of course and as always my Wikipedia guide was my hubs. *Especially when there was a review article about this exibition in Playboy last month:) Nothing about that in Cosmo though:(

TV killed the radio Star

My pretty intuitive husband baught me a while agoa new cellphone. And it's The one - I mean finally the phone answers completely to my expectations and it is easy to manage:)
And with all of its usability, yesterday we started a dispute- weather I should load some movies on it in order to watch them afterwards on my wayback home from my work (usually it takes 1 h and a half).
And I said NO...A big huge NO! And my point is - if I'll watch movies, I'll be deprived of book reading. This is almost the only time I use for reading paper books.
 And I do cherish and value my time with my books.
