Drinking in family

It's Summer. And so to speak, drinking habbits are changing. At least for me. As to my love, he's in Tea Ceremony as always.
I do love to make some homemade fruit juices. Of course, smothies are the best, but it's more of a meal than beverage to me:)
So here is a little of our every day drinking party.

Morning horror

After 36 h without electricity, and all thoughts messed up in my mind with concerns of daily habitat and praying for not forgetting anything at home for work and vice versa, I endeavoured into "20 Great american short stories" on my way to work.
Today's reading began with "What was it?" by Fitz-James O'Brien. I read, slept, I got agitated when I realised I am reading a horror story at 7 a.m. Wow. It was interesting. Not fully awaken, I got chills up my spine. But blurry ones. I still kind of was sleeping:)
Nice story though. Never liked the horror stories, but they have some new emotionally impact on me that early in the morning.
And if you know me, you I'm all about new sensations!

Catching the Sun bathing

This Summer is weird in temperature. Where's the hotness of the air? Anyone?
So, each Sunny second we try to get on bike and go biking with Isla. Still have to do some more catches of Isla running by my hub's bike.
Oh, by the way, she was named after Isla Fisher, that's why I no longer spell her as Ayla:)
This being said, we found some small ponds near our place and checked them out last weekend. As long as no drunkers are around it's pretty cute, but it's a small area for Sunbathing and too many people knowing of it. Hopefully, next time we'll get more intelligent people hanging around.

Back to photo, back to love

Having 2 cameras dusting all year around, I've decided to grab'em more often and snap some shots once in a while. Just for family memories. And of course, with a new model in town, it's becoming even more challenging.
I am no closer to affirm that she's the best at posing, but I'm perseverent and she has plenty of free time:)
We're about to get better both in photo and in posing!

Reality TV outcome

I totally deserve to be called a Reality Tv show  freak. It's my obsession. Kind of a new one, since I get online streaming from Internet.
And it's ok. You know why? That's my English *balsamic oil*. Goes with everything, all the time and make the process smoothier:)
I listen and catch a lot of modern life updates with terms straight away in English. How cool is that?
And that is my one and only advice for those in need of English lessons, get whatever you love and like in English. I mean you're gonna spend this time on your hobbies anyway, so why not to do it in English?
Well, lately,  I cought some sticky expressions from a Brit Cook on a boat. I even put them in my notebook - That's how crazy I am!

- When you put all these pees in a pot.
- I am slightly *apulled* by their eating habbits.
- I'm gonna meet her half way. I'm gonna please the old girl.
- Absolute pleasure.
- You can always put a fun twist to simpl things.

Of course my hubs is aware of these preferences of mine and he goes even deeper. It was so thoughtfull of him to buy some of my fav chocolates alongside the ones he took for him.
Never stop being amazed of an unlimited LOVE!

Impromptu Bike Marathon

We finally got our bikes ready. I mean someone did for us:) But well, it's worth it if that's somebody else's headache and you just pick it up done.
Opening season for bike rides was late in the evening, work after, with a complete rain waterfall on our heads. 3 min ride from the train station to our home made us wetty&sweaty. Good warm bath made all the cares fade away.
Coming back to the Marathon. Actually, I headed ourselves to Okhotny for a skirt and as my hubs said, why not make a short trip with the bikes in the City Center of Great old Moscow.
And while doing our short trip we felt kind of lonely, 'cause some main streets were empty and BOOOM! thouthands of bikes came across. Like, OH YEAR, what's that and Why we are not making part of it? So we did. For a while. As it was in the opposite direction of our purpuse shopping place, we turned back soon after.
DEF, for the first time I've seen so many people on bikes. I never've seen so many people in a Subway at the same time.So many! What a feeling of belonging to smth HUGE:)

Baby blanket - Patchwork - first try!

I have that desire for so long, but never with the motive. Now I've got a godson and time limit, so I had to deal with it. It seemed to be the perfect present.
I took a friend for fabric shopping and I think it was the craziest shopping ever. We debated for 2 hours over the selected colors, main theme and prints. I would call this the hardest part of all. So many ideas, and just one blanket!:))
My hubs did all the calculations with the measurements I've given him. I had a few days for cutting the pieces. And here I understood that 10*10 cm is too small and my next work will be out of bigger squares.
I never new how much time it will take to get it all sewed, but one full day was enough. We puzzled with the squares at the begenning, took pictures (to know which one goes where) and I started sewing.
It was a funny tiresome work full of pleasure. Of course I have commited a mistake, but it looks even funnier this way:)
I love the result and the idea that it's so unique.
