This is my story with this Tucan Cross Stitch Kit. I don't even remember when I started it. It's def' more that 5 years ago. But once upon a time I found it hidden somewhere with all the schemes and the key description, and the colors. All at one place and I decided that I'll finish it. I generally love to consider myself a person that finishes everything ever started. So for now, beeing interrupted almost always by other gift cross-stitched kits, reading, knitting and a lot  of other hobbies, I demand some force to make me finish this one. I actually love it very much. It's a big colorful picture that will be amazing on my kitchen's wall.

Love talented people!!

Denim skirts and other pleasures.

I've done it again. Another pair of jeans went to a great denim skirt. And this one I love so much I even break my own rule of not wearing same clothes two weeks in a row. I literally wear it each week. I just look throughout my completed outfits and reach this skirt to put it on:) It is so comfy and goes almost with everything. Best combination for me.

I also tend to get back to my crosstitch. I have waaaaay to many schemes waiting for me. And now, as my significant other even helps me with crossing my stitches sometimes - it's even funnier and goes faster. I promise, there are some amazing works ahead of me and I am so glad I remembered them! I even got a Dimensions set - OMG, I forgot about it!!!

And, my hands and eyes also reached The Age of Innocence. I've got through 18 pages so far, but it's already captivating!!! Gonna recommend it to all the book lovers out there.

And that day has come (hopefully some more on their way too). Our babe made it through the night without any *wet accidents* and we are so happy about that. I do hope it goes on like that further till always. It took her one week to understand our wishes and it took me one week to get accustomed to her and just acknowledge her as a member of our family. I am at peace now.
And she is so funny when she sees me in the evening and jumps around like a crazy frog. Make me feel a part of her heart too.
We also discovered a new trick - when we want to hold her still, we put her in the bath tube - thus we have time to get dressed and nor wondering about her adventures around the flat. She doesn't seem to mind that. I can't barely wait for warm days to come to be able to go to the lake near by our surrounding. She'll love it for sure, as for the moment she adores to take bath.

Random busyness

New Year is all about new goodies. And I want to have plenty of that.
Our best acquisition so far is Princess Ayla. It's been a week. I am more of *Keep calm and wait for her to come to senses*))) My love finally wakes up early in the morning, never gets enough sleep, but still showing his best care for this little child. I see some grains of judgment in her actions and that makes me be optimistic. It's just i am already used to have a plus worry in the family and now all and everything is circled around her. But time will come...and she will let me hug her, and kiss her without engaging a bit action out of it.
I'm back to the classics. First thought in my mind was: Going back to classics (Tess) is like taking a bath with milk - goes so smoothly! Just enjoying it very much.

I am also back to my cross-stitching. I have huge work ahead of me and I plan to get it all done. I love this hobby of mine and beeing kept away from it makes me sad. I am trying my best to go on!

I also have beed DIY sewing lately. Tryin' to do it each weekend. It's fun and I love to redo some clothes. Still have to do a picture of my last cherry denim skirt.

By now means I would expect ourselves to get a dog that soon and in a flat. But things got wild as our Rescue senses were alerted and she came into our lives.
I'm still reserved and still sniffing around to see how much damage she brings. But it's an alive dog-beeing and I'm sure we'll get along.
It's interesting how a pet transforms you into a socializer. A lot of people with dogs get in contact and become friends. So, my all alone lady friends - that's an option for you to meet somebody:) And why not through a common passion for dogs.
I mean, it's a million things I could write about her, but I prefer just to say * Never raise your expectations too hight and you'll never get disappointed*. Works perfectly for me, and our little girl is really shy and almost as good as we want her to be.
 I could never imagine that in the first day at a new place, this cuty would go to sleep at her place, will not destroy the house, furniture etc. She is quite receptive around us.
Let's see what she does today. When nobody's around for a few hours:)

Denim skirt out of old jeans

One of my outsanding wishes of doing good to the Planet and recycle is to ReDo some of my stuff.   And this time it was a pair of jeans I loved very much. And why not? I love skirts, I love denim - I have a sewing mashine and some handfull ideas:)
